CADavenue, recently announced a promotion which grabbed our attention.
They are currently promoting a new Mechanical Software bundle which includes a free copy of Mech-Q Tools plus a stand-alone CAD platform caleld AViCAD. It seems to be getting quite a bit of attention these days.
The new software bundle is called AViCAD which is basically Mech-Q (which by the way is still also available for AutoCAD, LT and IntelliCAD products) – is now bundled free with AViCAD (a popular AutoCAD alternative).

A Little About AViCAD and Mech-Q
Mech-Q has been around for a quite a number of years. They have developed modules that can either be purchased as single applications or as an entire suite. Their tools are also equipped with BOM and include 3-D, 2-D isometric and single line drawing modes.
AViCAD is a full blown CAD Application built upon IntelliCAD technology. It includes a similar look and feel to AutoCAD LT, but also includes 3D drafting and built-in LISP support.
Cadavenue has told us directly that most all their users rave about how AViCAD offers the closest AutoCAD user experience than any other AutoCAD alternative.
