Adding Your Own Blocks & Using The Catalog
Along with the thousands of free symbols you receive with Block Explorer you can add your own as well. Use the AutoCAD Block Manager to classify blocks by logical groups using library folders. Also included is a block collector, which allows you to import Dwg files or blocks from currently open drawing into selected library with automatic slide generation.
Advanced Manipulation
Block Explorer offers unique ability to Insert, Xref, Adjust and Replace blocks. You can insert or X-ref library blocks single or multiple times using Block Manipulate Options module. In addition you can adjust blocks using -X-flip, Y-flip, Rotate, Rotate90, Move, Explode, Scale, Attedit, Match, Delete, Undo or Change Properties of selected block references. Block Explorer can also replace instances of one block with another
Using the Transformers option you can also associate a block with unlimited combinations of insert parameters (Scale, Rotation, Attributes). You can select that combination when block is inserted instantaneously transforming it to desired form
Administration
Block Explorer makes drawing standards a snap. It supports departmental drawing standards by associating cataloged blocks with Insert Properties (Insertion Layer, Color, Linetype)
Configure a standard for each client and assign this standard to client drawings. – When a block is inserted, Block Explorer will use standard associated with current drawing to automatically place it on correct Layer with appropriate Color and Linetype
With this AutoCAD Block Manager you can also assign read, write or administration rights to Block Explorer users accessing libraries through network
In addition you can print out contents of your libraries, restore your deleted blocks or library folders and convert block files to any AutoCAD version to support clients using AutoCAD R14 through 2011.
Instantaneous Access
Block Explorer automatically saves references of used library blocks into drawing history. User can view and insert blocks from another drawing history. You can also can add any library folder to your Favorites. Selecting Favorites tab will display all favorite folders. Or you can search by typing block’s name, description or search pattern
Modify Without Exploding Block
Modify Block Definitions without exploding them. Change block appearance by redefining component properties and insertion point.
